The Spring/Summer 2026 round robin session runs from April 30 thru August 27.
Starting April 2, you can join the Spring/Summer session by joining the group via MyPBGames.
Eligibility
- Must join MyPBGames.
- Resident of The Villages (full-time or seasonal)
- Must be aged 50+ during the year of registration
- PCVG rating of 4.5 or above or a DUPR rating of above 4.500 (30+ games and 60%+ reliability in the DUPR system). Please note that the DUPR game and reliability requirements may be waived if and only if there are not enough eligible registrations to make the league or round robin group take place.
Format
Fall/Winter Format
- This will be team play. The number of teams and the number of players per team depends upon the number of registrants.
- The season consists of round robin matches between the teams.
- The playing Captains will draft players for their teams from all players who register for the draft.
- All other players will be placed on the sub list.
- Match results will be entered into MyPBGames. Match results will not be recorded into the DUPR system.
Spring/Fall Format
This will be a round robin format.
- The format will be round robin—no team play. The format may change each week based upon popularity (i.e. MLP format, Queen of the Court).
- The round robin play will be set up in MyPBGames as a “Group.” Eligible women will join the Group within MyPBGames. Then when the time is right, they will opt-in (sign up) to play on a weekly basis. There is no long-term commitment; simply opt-in when you can play. Players who opt-in will have the option to opt-out, if needed.
- Match results will not be recorded.
Policies, Procedures & Guidelines
Attendance, Late Arrival, No Show Policy
If a player is more than 10 minutes late and a sub has not been found, their first match will be forfeited. If the player fails to show by the start of the second match and no sub has been found, then their second match shall be forfeited as well. In either case, that player will be tracked as a No Show. A single No Show may result in removal from the league as determined by the Commissioner. More than one No Show will result in automatic removal from the league.
Play Suspended, Time-Out, Behavior Policy
- One timeout is allowed per game. Hydration stops are allowed as needed. Medical timeouts are always allowed (15 minutes). If a player is unable to continue after their medical timeout, then any unfinished and unstarted games are forfeited.
- Bullying, threats, or physical altercations will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the league.
- If play is stopped due to weather, all completed games are counted and unfinished games are not. Rainout dates are not rescheduled.
Subbing Policies for Team League Play (Fall/Winter Session)
- Subs must meet the league eligibility guidelines.
- If a full-time player drops, the Commissioner may select a permanent replacement for the remainder of the season. As necessary, subs can be brought in on a weekly basis.
- If a sub turns down a request to play for a Team, they may not play for another Team that same week.
- If a team uses more than 50% subs in a given week, that team forfeits all games for that week. The team may still play, but every game will be recorded as a loss.
