4.0-4.5 Men's League
Tuesdays: 10AM @ Captiva AND Fridays: 10AM @ Truman
This league is different from most. Instead of committing to weeks of play as in a regular league, you can opt-in to play on a weekly basis.
The Summer session runs from July 7 thru September 29.
The Fall session runs from October 6 thru December 18.
Registration for the Falls session begins September 1 (9AM) and closes September 21 (11PM).
Eligibility
To be eligible for play, these requirements must be met:
- Must join MyPBGames.
- Must be a resident of The Villages (full-time or seasonal).
- Must be aged 50+ during the year of registration.
- Must have a PCVG or a DUPR rating of 4.0 or higher with 24+ games played and a 60%+ reliability. Players with both a PCVG and DUPR rating must use whichever rating is higher for entry.
Play Specifics
The league will play on Tuesdays from 10 to 11:50AM at the Captiva Recreation Center courts and also on Fridays from 10 to 11:50AM at Truman.
Simply register to play when you can. During this timeframe, player win/loss stats will be tracked and published to MyPBGames. Results will not be entered into DUPR.
The play format will be round robin, where you rotate partners each game. Participants will be divided into three groups of nine players. One different player will sit out each game.
Registration
Opting in for a particular play date is required within MyPBGames and may be done up to 7 days prior to the event. The first 27 people who register will be included in that day's play.
Important: If you opt-in, you must show up! You must delete your sign-up by 6PM the day before your session to avoid a penalty.
