Mixed 4.0/4.5 League

The 4.0-4.5 Mixed Pickleball League has two seasons each year, one in the Fall and one in the Winter.

Wednesdays: 10AM-Noon @ Rohan & Bradenton

 The Fall 2026 session runs from September 30th thru December 16th.
Fall session registration runs from September 3rd 8:30AM thru September 17th 11PM.

League Details

Matches will be played on Wednesdays between 10AM and Noon at the Rohan and Bradenton Recreation Centers.

There are eight teams consisting of 12 players each, with 6 women and 6 men on each team.  The eight playing captains will draft players for their teams from all players that register for the draft, alternating as they choose to select either a female or male player of any rating.

The season consists of seven scheduled round robin matches between the eight teams, followed by a series of Playoff matches based on the standings after the round robin matches.  The number of Playoff matches will be determined based on the number of matches that are canceled due to weather. Cancelled round robin matches will require the use of the later weeks in the schedule and completed prior to any Playoff matches.

Eligibility

• Must be a Villages Resident.
• Must be at least 50 years of age.
• Must join PCVG's MyPBGames.
• Must have a PCVG rating of 4.0 or 4.5 or have a DUPR rating of 4.0 – 4.999. Players with both a PCVG and DUPR rating must use whichever rating is higher for entry.

Selection Process

Everyone who registers will be entered into the draft and possibly selected to be a regular weekly player on one of the eight teams. Anyone not selected will automatically be added to the sub list. As a league sub, you will provide your availability and may be requested by one of the team captains to play for their team on a specific date.

All players registering for the draft must be available to play in a minimum of 7 weeks of the first 10 weeks in the schedule.  If you cannot be available for at least 7 of the first 10 weeks of the schedule, you should register to be a substitute for the league.
