PCVG Board Chair Resignation

The PCVG Executive Committee has accepted the resignation of Board Chair Doug McClintock. Doug shared with us that he is pursuing new opportunities and initiatives, including the formation of a new pickleball organization, the Villages Independent Pickleballers (VIP), which will be taking up much of his available time. Doug has indicated that he will provide additional information to the pickleball community as his plans develop.

Doug stepped into the Chair role during a challenging period and devoted significant time and energy to supporting PCVG. He contributed several constructive ideas and consistently demonstrated a desire to do what he believed was best for our participants. We appreciate his efforts and thank him for his service to the PCVG community.

Reflecting on his time as Chair, Doug shared, “It has been an honor to serve this organization and the incredible pickleball community that makes PCVG so special. I know PCVG will continue to thrive because of the passion and dedication of its players, volunteers, and Board members.”

The Board’s Executive Committee will follow the PCVG bylaws to ensure a smooth transition and continued support for all activities. Our focus remains on serving our participants, supporting our volunteers, and keeping PCVG running strong.

Thank you for your continued involvement and enthusiasm for our PCVG community.
